Mark as Useful Several calls on my cell during a day. Someone says that it is a collect coll from a Shelby Country Jail. I called them back - the recorded message says that this line is not in service. Annoying!

Mark as Useful There was a recent hack of marketing data from Epsilon, a third party marketer who handles information for many major credit card companies as well as store databases. I have been getting many, many calls asking me to "press 9" to lower my credit card rate. These people are just phishing. NEVER, NEVER give them your information!

Mark as Useful Man with a havy accent says he is with American Legal Services and his name is Peter Jones. Calls are annoying and harassing. He calls all day and part of the evening on my cell phone and work phone. Says that there is trouble on my SS# and name. never says exactly what it is related to but says to call right back and if I don't bad things will happen. This constitutes threatening and harrasment! Whatever you do, do not give anyone like this any financial information because they are scamming!

Mark as Useful this is a bogus law firm company trying to collect for a payday loan, this caller is a scam, I have no payday loans nor have I applied for one, do not answer, they will ignore you and tell you that the police is on their way to lock you up and that they have a suit pending against you, very threatening
